Hi everyone, in this guide, I'll show you how to replace the gimbal on the DJI Mavic 3 drone. If the camera gimbal cannot be repaired and you are replacing the gimbal assembly, you will need to calibrate the drone.
This seems to be a real design failure on the part of DJI, about the only thing I can complain about on my air. The SD card is a pain to get out (though the tape idea isn't bad, but I assume that means leaving the cover open), and the other option is to open the arms (I did it without doing that one time and the prop movement appeared to put more stress on the props and motors than I'd like

Uninstall "Assistant 2". Download and install "Assistant 2 for Mavic" and update the firmware. Then Re-calibrate the gimbal in the Go 4 App. Gotcha, doing that this afternoon, sadly no test flights until this weekend.

Feb 19, 2020. #1. So i purchased the Mavic Pro 2 about 7 months ago and flew it probably about 20 or 30 times with great success. I put it away when the weather started turning bad a couple months ago and just got it back out of the case about two weeks ago to fly. At start up the gimbal did not go thru its normal movements it just remained limp.
