You can just pick up everything an opposing band has dropped after a battle, hit up the shops in the nearest town and press the sell all button to maximise your denars gained
Sell at Quyaz, buy fish or oil at Quyaz. Sell fish at Lageta. Buy green, sell green. Selling hardwood to the khuzaits and aserai works to get you some levels. Get a few workshops and get the perk for trade rumors from your workshops. Then just go off that. That's the best way I've found so far.
Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord. Troop Wages. They are too high! Cut them in half and it would be more practical. Why? It seems about right to me. Build a caravan or two, or invest in workshops and you can finance a nice army. Troop wages are too low if you ask me. Play a bit, buy a workshop or a caravan or two.
