Probably be worth taking the facelift out for a test drive before a deposit is put down on the RS/ Mustang just to have a back to back comparison but the motoring hacks all seem to be disappointed in the facelift version as a road weapon compared it's main opposition (latest Golf GTI etc), granted electronic trickery is playing a bigger part these days in helping to put the power down but
I prefer the more agreesive headlights and slightly updated interior of the facelift, but the pre-facelift is a fair chunk lighter and has those lovely "slats" just behind the rear wheels. I'm a sucker for details like that. Also, with a pre facelift you can instantly tell an ST from a regular focus.
