I've seen a lot of discourse online about where chaos knights stand right now within the game but a lot of it (from my experience anyway) seems to be from people who haven't had much experience either playing or playing against chaos knights and it has been largely negative sadly. i've been seeing discussions about potentially combining our codex with imperial knights or getting rid of knights

All applied in thin glazes and recess shades. Their tutorial is ass garbage for the verdigris. The guy starts with bronze and proceeds to layer (I kid you not) 15 or so layers with 3 different greens. His final product looks nothing like this paint scheme. So stop after step 3 and you’ll be good.
Hello everybody! I recently started to spice my collection up and get a few chaos knights (despoiler/abominant/4x Wardogs Karnivore) and want to use them slowly with my chaos space marines (I know that I should probably take the wardogs out of these choices but its just appealing to take a huge ass knight sitting in the backfield and killing enemies one by one)
As for teranis traitors, they are probably the most likely imperial house to have knights fall to chaos as their thrones don't imprint their minds with loyalty and feudal behavioural encoding. So in theory would be less resilient to corruption. Tipsy Techpriest and Nemerax. 2. Back to top.
Today I wanted to share how I painted the most recent addition to my Chaos knights. This was a lot of fun and very easy to do. I hope you all enjoy! If you en

I recently finished a Renegate Knight with a Thousand Sons theme, featuring a really cool Anubis head! The head is a custom 3D print, designed by Shane Blomberg aka ComradeQuiche. Check out more pictures after the jump. I had lots of different ideas about how to paint the head. I wanted it to compliment the colour scheme of the Thousand Sons
I really like the Khorne red with black gradient and i think I’ll the to do that with some glazing, to me the armor looks kind of purple, do you think Khorne red is purple enough or should I mix some purple into the black glaze?
In our How to Paint Everything series, we take a look at different armies of the Warhammer universe, examine their history and heraldry, and look at several different methods for painting them. 5. Paint the hair and any boney spikes with Corax White thinned with a little water. 6. Wash the hair with Apothecary White. 7. Lightly apply a light coat of Volupus Pink to two thirds of the hair. Reapply Volupus Pink to increase the intensity. 8. Apply a light coat of Shyish Purple to a third of the hair and the claws.
2. Base coat the entire model with Screamer Pink. I used my airbrush to apply this coat. it’s a base paint so you can paint it on with just a couple of coats. 3. Mix Pink Horror and Screamer Pink together (50:50) and paint it onto all the fleshy parts of the model. 4. Paint over the fleshy parts with Pink Horror.
